Maxi carefully selects its suppliers, chooses its partners among leading European companies and continuously verifies the efficiency of its procedures. Thanks to our Quality Assurance Department - which has the task of controlling and implementing company procedures - the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certificate was obtained in February 1998. In December 2001, we obtained the certificate to import vegetable products cultivated organically by Third Countries issued by the Ministry for the Environment and ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certifications), a body accredited by IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements). Since 2012, we have also been supporting Fair-trade, with the purpose of helping the disadvantaged producers in Developing countries, so that they can enter the trading system under transparent and fair conditions; subsequently, improving their living standards.
